Scope

This standards provides assessment methods for ecodesign requirements applicable to electronic displays that are primarily intended for household, office or commercial use, including televisions, monitors and signage displays. Medical devices are not in scope.

This standard mainly covers energy efficiency requirements, but also some material efficiency requirements and other requirements for reducing the environmental impact of electronic displays.

This standard is intended to provide presumption of conformity to the new regulation on ecodesign requirements for electronic displays. A Standardization Request is expected but not available yet
