Scope

This standard applies in conjunction with DIN VDE 0700 part 1 (IEC 335-1) (HD 251 S1 and EN 60335 part 1, respectively) for electrical equipment of appliances and devices for non-electric generation of heat by means of solid, liquid and gaseous fuels as well as for appliances to which heat energy is supplied through the heat carriers of water or steam. The appliances and devices are delivered ready for electrical connection and assembly; they are suited for operation by unskilled persons
