Terminal markings for disconnectors and earthing switches in switchgear and controlgear

Scope

This standard applies to terminal markings of motor-operated mechanisms of air-insulated indoor and outdoor disconnectors and eathing switches according to IEC 129 as well as similar switches/switch-disconnectors according to IEC 265-1 and IEC 265-2. The main purpose of this standard is to attain a uniform assignment of the terminal numbers to the individual functions. The setup of the terminal strip i.e. the sequence of the individual terminals within the terminal strip, does not form part of this standard. This also applies to the location of the terminal strip within the drive casing as well as the splitting up, if any, into several terminal strips.
