Scope

This draft standard applies to flat non-rewireable two-pole plugs without earthing contact with a rated voltage of 250 V a.c. and a rated current of 10 A, with a cord, for the connection of equipment of class II for household and similar purposes. This draft extends the scope of plugs according to DIN VDE 0620-101 (VDE 0620 Part 101:1992) up to 10 A.
