Electrical equipment in trolley busses - Safety requirements and guide for the submission of offers prEN 50XXX

Scope

The standard applies to electrical equipment on board trolley busses, fed at a nominal voltage between 600 V and 750 V direct current. The aim is to give construction requirements and to address the design and the manufacture in order to avoid hazards of electrical nature for the public and the personnel. As an informative annex is taken the revised contents of CEI 9-8, which gives a guidance in writing the tender enquiry specification and in the submission of an offer for the electrical equipment of trolley busses.
