Scope

To issue a standard concerning the electromagnetic interference produced by power lines in normal operating conditions and in fault conditions on metallic pipelines. The aspects to be covered by the standards will be: - safety of people which can be in contact with the pipeline or connected equipment; - damage of the pipeline or connected equipment; - malfunction of connected equipment. The damage of the pipeline includes the effects of the ac corrosion.
