Sanitary Instantaneous water heaters (SIWH) — Part 2: Energy Efficiency prEN 50759

Scope

This document contains measurement methods for determining the energy efficiency for pre-fabricated sanitary instantaneous water heaters (SIWH). The energy efficiency is described by the energy utilisation factor. The utilisation factor of a SIWH is the ratio between the energy provided in the hot water for the withdrawal pattern of the declared load profile and the energy consumed. The method works in the same way as the measurement methods already used in the energy label for electric warm water storage tanks (EN50444) or heat pump water heater (EN16147).
