Scope

This standard specifies the minimum requirements for chemical protective suite with liquid-tight connections between different parts for the chemical protec- tive suit for use by emergency teams. It specifies the performance requirements both for the materials of the chemical protective clothing and for the chemical protective suit as a whole. Performance requirements of component parts, such as gloves and boots and respiratory protection may be specified elsewhere.
