Scope

This standard specifies the rules, design, type testing, fabrication and inspecttion control of portable fire extinguishers as far as pressure risk is concerned. This standard applies to extinguishers of which the maximum allowable pressure PS is lower than or equal to 30 bar. This standard also applies to the gaz cartridge of which the volume is less than or equal to 0,5 l.
