Containers for fuel made of thermoplastics moulding materials with capacities of up to 5 litres and up to 20 litres - Requirements, test methods

Scope

This standard is valid for containers for fuel (hereafter known briefly as containers with screw-cap, pouring-nozzle and associated seals, which - have a capacity of up to 5 litres, - have a capacity of more than 5 litres and not more than 20 litres, - are manufactured from thermoplastic plastics, and - are intended exclusively for occasional use in motor vehicles and for machinery in order to maintain a supply of fuel for spark-ignition or diesel engines.
