Eurocode 12 — Design of tensioned membrane structures – Part 2: Execution prEN 19102-2

Scope

(1) This document gives requirements for the execution of tensioned membrane structures designed in accordance with prEN 19102-1-1. It contains provisions related to execution upon which the design provisions in prEN 19102-1-1 rely.

NOTE Membrane materials comprise structural fabrics, coated structural fabrics and foils.

(2) This document does not cover:
1. Design and detailing rules;
2. Permitted geometrical deviations required for appearance, thermal or sound insulation;
3. Contractual aspects, responsibilities of the various parties, competency requirements or the degree of independence of the personnel undertaking the inspection;
4. Health and safety requirements during execution.
