Scope

This part of EN (155wi022) specifies the characteristics of the fitness for purpose of glass-reinforced thermosetting plastics based on polyester resin (GRP-UP) piping systems intended to be used in the field of water supply. It also specifies the test parameters for the test methods referred to in this standard. It is applicable to the joints to be used in GRP-UP piping systems to be used for the conveyance of water below ground, outside buildings, at temperatures up to 45 °C.
