Scope

This European Standard specified an area module for use in the dimensional coordination of technical components intended to fit into a transportation chain e.g. packages, unit loads, pallets, roll container, containers, transport vehicles, loading and unloading equipment and storage facilities. It also specifies rules of application for developing multimodules and modular submultiples from that area module.
