Cleanroom technology - Biocontamination control - Part 4: Methods of analyzing and measuring aerobiocontamination in zones at risk

Scope

This European Standard describes principles and methods for the assessment of airborne biocontamination in zones at risk. Techniques for the qualification of a sampling device are given in annex A and suitable culture media for sampling are described in annex B. The techniques described in this standard cannot be used to access or monitor the total number of airborne microbial particles (viable or non-viable) nor as a means for the validation of air treatment processes.
