Scope

This European Standard describes principles and methods for the assessment of t the biocontamination of surfaces in zones at risk. Suitable culture media for sampling are described in annex A. The techniques described in this standard maybe used for the determination of the efficiency of cleaning or disinfection procedures in cleanrooms however, they cannot be used to access the activity of detergents or disinfectants, for which other European Standards may apply.
