This document specifies procedures for the determination of the slip resistance of floorings in the three most commonly encountered situations in which pedestrians walk (normal flooring, barefoot, and workplace situations) using laboratory and portable procedures. It does not cover sports surfaces and road surfaces for vehicles (skid resistance).
