This document specifies the requirements for the design, dimensions, testing and quality assurance of pneumatic half couplings and pneumatic rubber based flexible hoses.
This document is applicable to
- pneumatic half couplings designed to couple either the brake pipes or main reservoir pipes of rail vehicles, without taking the type of vehicles and track-gauge into consideration,
- pneumatic rubber based flexible hoses used in rail vehicles.
