Scope

This European standard specifies methods of measuring the energy consumption and related performance characteristics such as volumes, temperature and star rating of each compartment, temperature rise time and freezing capacity (for freezer compartments), tolerances permitted to declared values for electric motor operated household refrigerators, frozen food storage cabinets, food freezers and their combinations.
