This European Standard specifies methods of testing and reporting rating criteria together with the minimum requirements for factory-made residential, commercial and industrial, electrically-driven, mechanical-compression, air-conditioners employing air- and water-cooled condensers and air-to-air heat pumps to ensure fit for use. This European standard is limited to basic, multiple circuit, modular and modular heat recovery multisplit systems. They are designed to operate with a combination of one outdoor unit and two or more indoor units designed for individual operation.
