Chemical disinfectants and antiseptics - Surface disinfectants used in human medicine, bactericidal activity - Test method and requirements (phase 2/step 1)

Scope

This European Standard specifies a test method (phase 2/step 1) and requirements for the bactericidal activity of chemical disinfectant products that form a homogenous, physically stable preparation in hard water and that are used for surface disinfection in the medical field. This includes products used for the disinfection of inanimate surfaces and other materials used in direct or indirect contact with patients and persons employed in healthcare facilities.
