Scope

This European Prestandard specifies a set of mechanisms for a unambiguous characterization of four constructs - complexes, statements, details within statements, links between record components - structuring clinical information within Electronic Health Care Records (EHCR). These mechanisms do not force a particular organization of a record system and the use of particular terminological systems to represent the content of record components.
