Scope

This standard defines terms used for data and information in the fields of traffic and travel. The standard is applicable to traffic and transport engineering in general, and particularly data and information exchange. This ENV supersedes ENV 13106-1:1998. The normative terminology is provided in tables 1 to 3. Table 1 provides general definitions; it is normative. Table 2 lists the entities and their instances; it is normative. Table 3 lists the attributes with their definitions, values, units, data type, field width and default format.
