This European Standard specifies the characteristics, test methods and consumer information required for ladder accessories.
The accessories in question are designed in order to fit onto ladders compliant with EN 131-1 and EN 131-2.
Accessories should not modify the ladder in a way which adversaly affect the performances characteristics as described in the EN 131.
Only the accessories described in this standard are concerned by this scope, all the others are excluded.
