Scope

1.1 This Draft European standard specifies the general requirements for all types of small steam sterilizers unless the requirement is modified or added to by a subsequent Part, in which case the requirement of the particular Part will apply. 1.2 This Draft European standard applies to automatically controlled small steam sterilizers that generate steam using electrical heaters or use steam that is generated by a system external to the sterilizer.
