Scope

This standard contains the requirements for safety for the design and installation of impact testng machines capable of performing radial pressure testing of the sidewall. This standard deals with all significant hazards caused by impact testing machines when they are used under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer (see clause 4). This European standard specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce riskes arising from the significant hazards.
