Scope

1.1 This European Standard contains the requirements for safety for the design and installation of fixed head inspection machines capable of performing plug-, height-, outside finish-dimension testing and other testing. 1.2 This European Standard deals with all significant hazards caused by fixed head inspection machines, when they are used under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer (see clause 4). This European Standard specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks arising from the significant hazards.
