This document deals with the actions, requirements and terminology for and the inspection of factory made Structural Sealant Glazing for use primarily in building facades. This standard is applicable to products which satisfy the following conditions: - the structural seal is not intended to support the self load of the glass at any time after manufacture of the product (see figure 1); - the product is situated vertically or at an inclined attitude from between 7 and 90 degrees to the horizontal, provided that the glass is always exterior to the seal (see figure 2) etc.
