This Part 2 of EN 12899 specifies requirements and test methods for new Traffic bollards
(transilluminated and retroreflective bollards) including their fixing, which may incorporate traffic
signs (type 1 Transilluminated Traffic Bollards) or may support traffic signs (type 2
Transilluminated Traffic Bollard) to be used in traffic circulation areas
It covers a number of performance requirements (e.g. visual performance and performance
under static and dynamic loading).
This standard does not cover:
