Scope

This European standard provides performance requirement for cathodic protection of steel in atmospherically exposed concrete, in both new and existing structures, including normal reinforcement and prestressed reinforcement embedded in the concrete. Part 1 of this European standard does not apply to buried or submerged elements of the buildings or structures.
