Scope

This European Standard specifies the classifications, requirements and test methods for light mass-coloured unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) profiles intended to be used for the fabrication of windows and doors.
It applies to light mass-coloured profiles with the colorimetric co-ordinates:
¾ L * ³ 82 (chromaticity co-ordinate Y ³ 60)
¾ - 2,5 £ a* £ 5
¾ - 5 £ b* £ 15
when determined in accordance with ISO 7724-1, ISO 7724-2 and ISO 7724-3, using CIE Standard illuminant D65 including specular reflectance and measuring condition 8/d or d/8 (without gloss trap for both).
