Scope

This European Standard gives recommendations on the selection and dimensioning of components, and dimensioning and positioning of drainage holes, for fitting glass into frames of any material. This European Standard does not apply to curved glass, corrugated glass or channel-shaped glasses.
This European Standard applies only to edge supported glazing systems which are vertical, or nearly vertical, (glazing which in closed position is no more than 15o from the vertical), in all types of fixed or opening frames. See definition 3.1
This European Standard does not apply to structural sealant glazing.
