Scope

This European Standard specifies an analytical method for the determination of lead, iron and aluminium in zinc and zinc alloys by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. It is applicable to the products specified in EN 1179, prEN 1774 and prEN.....(0020907). It is suitable for the determination of lead and iron contents between 0,001 % and 0,050 %, and for aluminium contents between 0,001 % and 0,600 %.
