This European standard provides information on the charateristic values for use in designing structures incorporating wood-based panels. EN 12369-1 revised includes one new strength and three new moduli values for P4 panels following EN 312 revised. For dry process fibreboards (MDF), particleboards and certain fibreboards, this standard includes the minimum characteristic values of both the mechanical properties and density. The characteristic values in this standard are as defined in ENV 1995-1-1.
