Testing fresh concrete — Part 15: Flow time viscosity prEN 12350-15

Scope

This document specifies the procedures for determining tX00. This parameter is a measure of the flow rate and an indication of the apparent viscosity of tremie or low-carbon footprint concretes.

This test does not apply to self-compacting concretes or concretes with insufficient fluidity. This test is not suitable when the maximum size of the coarse aggregate (Dmax) exceeds 22,4 mm. It can be carried out in the laboratory or on site.
