Wastewater treatment plants - Part 1: General construction principles

Scope

This part applies to the design and construction of treatment plants for wastewater having the characteristics of municipal wastewater. It cannot be applied for wastewater containing large portions of industrial effluents before making sure that the composition and the treatment characteristics of the influent to the treatment plant are close to those of municipal wastewater.
