Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for accessories intended for installation in such parts of the cryogenic vessels that they will not be directly influenced by temperatures below ambient under normal operation. Note: Some accessories might be affected by temperature below ambient, e.g. in the case of malfunction of leakage.
