This standard describes the components used in a smoke and heat exhaust control system. It includes ducts, smoke dampers, control panels and power supplies which operate natural ventilators, powered ventilators and smoke curtains as specified in parts 1 to 3 of EN 12101. In addition, this standard includes the requirements for the assembly, installation, commissioning, function testing and routine testing, maintenance, periodic/servicing and routine testing of a SHEVS.
