This document specifies requirements and test methods for room protection nozzles which introduce CO2, inert gas or halocarbon gas into a protected zone used in CO2-, Inert Gas- or Halocarbon Gas-fire extinguishing systems. This document covers only open nozzles, i.e. nozzles without activation function. This standard is not applicable to local application nozzles.
