Fixed firefighting systems - Components for gas extinguishing systems - Part 18: Emergency stop devices

Scope

This standard specifies the performance criteria for heat exposure and flame resistance, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, vibration/pressure resistance, response delay, operational reliability and sensitivity (ability to ensure the speed of operation) for emergency stop devices in CO2 extinguishing systems used for fire suppression. This standard includes the corresponding test methods and the evaluation of conformity of the product to this standard.
