Scope

This standard specifies the performance criteria for heat exposure and flame resistance, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, vibration/pressure resistance, response delay, operational reliability and sensitivity (ability to respond rapidly within specified tolerances and to give specified minimum flow) for pressure relief valves in CO2 extinguishing systems used for fire suppression. This standard includes the corresponding test methods and the evaluation of conformity of the product to this standard.
