Fixed firefighting systems - Components for gas extinguishing systems - Part 10: Requirements and test methods for pressure gauges and pressure switches

Scope

This standard specifies the performance criteria for heat exposure and flame resistance, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, vibration/pressure resistance, response delay, operational reliability and sensitivity (ability to operate at specified pressure parameters) for pressure switches and switch type pressure gauges in CO2 extinguishing systems used for fire suppression. This standard includes the corresponding test methods and the evaluation of conformity of the product to this standard.
