Gravity drainage systems inside buildings - Part 6: Inspection and testing prEN 12056-6

Scope

This European Standard applies to waste water drainage systems which operate under gravity. It is applicable for drainage systems inside dwellings, commercial, institutional and industrial buildings. The standard does not cover systems ventilated by air admittance valves. This sixth part of the standard sets out the principles which shall be followed when inspecting and testing such installations. Both tightness tests and performance tests are covered, and may be required by national and/or local authorities or by the building owner.
