Protective clothing – Electrostatic properties – Part 4: Garment tests prEN 1149-4

Scope

This project specifies a test method for measuring the transferred charge in electrostatic discharges from electrostatic dissipative protective clothing. The test method is applicable to a single garment or an assembly of garments, made from any materials, including homogenous materials and inhomogeneous materials with surface conducting fibres or core conducting fibres. Measurements of transferred charge in electrostatic discharges can be made from base materials and from any attachments.
