Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining the resistance to internal pressure at constant temperature of polyolefin assemblies obtained by fusion jointing of polyolefin pipes and fittings (e.g. by socket fusion, butt fusion orelectrofusion) and intended for the transport of fluids. NOTE: For testing of individual (unjointed) pipes, attention is drawn to EN 921.
