Scope

This European Standard defines the application of factory applied external fused polyethylene based coatings for the corrosion protection of tubes and pipeline components. External fused polyethylene based coating can be used for the protection of buried or submerged tubes for service at temperatures up to +60 °C. Higher temperature and/or higher mechanical requirements may demand special types of PE.
