This European Standard specifies a method for determining the water retentivity of freshly mixed mortars (in the following referred to as fresh mortars) containing mineral binders and normal, as well as light weight aggregates, when subjected to suction. This method applies to masonry mortars, rendering mortars and plastering mortars.
