New recommendations for monitoring and follow-up of energy efficiency measures implementation

Scope

The purpose of this CWA is to establish guidelines and best practices for the implementation of energy efficiency measures in energy-intensive industries based on the results obtained in energy audits. Its purpose is to provide a framework of best practices that allows organizations to implement energy improvements in a systematic, efficient manner that is aligned with current energy efficiency regulations. The CWA will be applicable to industries across any sector, and in particular to energy-intensive industries, which carry out energy audits in accordance with national or European standards. It will include reference regulations and methodologies, as well as best practices and recommendations for the implementation of energy efficiency measures and the monitoring of results.
