Scope

This CEN report specifies the product information that shall be given for all types of domestic adult beds including its component elements. It also includes recommended information that can be given on a voluntary basis. In order that the product information can be used by the consumer when comparing one product with another, the standard also specifies the terminology to be applied. The way in which the consumer information is presented, e.g. on a label or in a catalogue, is only recommended.
