Submerged Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology

Scope

This Technical Report defines terms commonly used in the field of membrane bioreactor technology.
This document refers to submerged MBR systems for the treatment of municipal wastewater with both separate MBR Systems and integrated MBR Systems.
This document establishes general design principles for MBR systems under consideration of interchangeability of membrane modules from different manufacturers.
