Postal services - Quality of service - Extension of Existing Standards to Multiple Operators prCEN/TR

Scope

The scope of this work item is to propose changes in standards produced or under production by WG1 so that they can be used in markets where there are several postal operators. This concerns letter-mail as well as parcels.

A preliminary review will be necessary to decide which detailed issues will need to be considered in this work item. The preliminary review should seek the views of regulators, customer organisations, universal service providers and other operators about the applicability of the existing standards in both countries where the market is already liberalised and countries where liberalisation is planned.
